What you need to know on the day you are Volunteering

  • You can bring a factory sealed beverage bottle (no alcohol) with you, or bring an empty bottle that you can fill up at water fountains inside the park.
  • There is a food court with food vendors at the west end of the festival on Bannock Street.
  • Wear a colorful shirt, and if you have a parish or congregation T-shirt, wear that and promote your parish or congregation!
  • Clergy are encouraged to wear a clerical collar and you can wear a stole if you like.
  • Please bring brochures from your parish or congregation to give out. We will have lists of Welcoming Episcopal and Lutheran churches, but bring brochures from your parish or congregation as well.

More information is available here at PrideFest FAQ

The most important thing is to come ready to represent both your parish or congregation and also the Episcopal and Lutheran churches and our strong commitments to being Christ centered communities where everyone is welcome.

Think about your own story and why it is important for our churches to be welcoming places and be prepared to share your story with our visitors.

How to Get There
